🏙️Local Orchestrators
A Solana Based Rollup Architecture
Goals:
Local Orchestrators serve as the backbone for regional instances of Shaga, complementing the global nature of the Solana-based protocol.
Key Functions:
Token Delegation:
Tokens are delegated to Shaga Accounts from Clients, allowing Nodes to earn with minimal fees and settle on Solana at their convenience.
Cost Minimization:
Reduces operational costs for Nodes while ensuring composability with Layer 1 DeFi protocols.
Regional Coordination:
Efficient Local Operations:
Each region, such as San Francisco and New York, operates its own ecosystem of Gamers, Gaming PCs, Smart Contracts, and State Channels.
Independent Scalability:
Local instances can scale independently, handling local orchestration tasks like escrow creation, bid processing, and session management.
Integration with Global Layer:
Global Consistency:
Ensures cross-region consistency and interoperability by periodically settling transactions on Solana’s Layer 1 blockchain.
Unified Network:
Maintains a globally unified network while providing tailored, low-latency services to local users.
By implementing Local Orchestrators, Shaga can effectively manage regional demands, optimizing the user experience and maintaining global network integrity.
